Education Exam Employment

Once upon a time, there was famous in the Nalanda University. The site of this famous university is located in the current state of Bihar. Nalanda was established in the 5th century AD. Back then it trained students in the fine arts, medicine, mathematics, astronomy, politics and the art of war. Their curriculum included subjects such as the Vedas, logic, Sanskrit grammar, medicine and Samkhya. Nalanda attracted pupils and scholars from Sri Lanka, Korea, Japan, China, Tibet, Indonesia, Persia and Turkey. You can visualise how important a role it played in improving the education system in the history of India. The quality of education was world class.

Coming to the current state of Bihar, Is the current educational system in Bihar still world class? Unfortunately, things have become worst. For the past few years, Bihar is in the news for its malpractices in examinations. Bihar has set records for mass cheating, topper-scam, etc. Cheating has become a normal norm in Bihar. In 2018, over 1,000 students were expelled for cheating during the Class 12 examinations. According to news sources, political affiliations are helping these students in cheating scams. Some fraud students actions impact those, who are honest with their studies.

Currently, employment has become a critical issue for the nation. Ruling government has failed to deliver the promise of jobs. In this situation, where a huge section of youth is jobless, these young aspirants are looking for government jobs through competitive exams. Unfortunately, these aspirants are also a victim of paper leaks. From education to employment,  the government seems to have lost its focus on the development. On one side the quality of education is deteriorating and on the other side, there is no hope that the government will guarantee employment.

While this government is busy destroying various the Institutions of the country. It will not only affect the current generation but also future generations. Education is the base of nations development. Government institutions occupied by such students, who are incapable of securing the job without cheating in exams will not work for the nation's good. Such institutions will lose the credibility and will eventually fail.

Honest students must raise their voice for such injustice.
